Leading bank executives gathered for a roundtable discussion held on September 24th, 2024, at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in Dubai, for a roundtable event hosted by GBM and Cisco, in cooperation with MEA Finance Magazine.
More than 25 leading banking and finance executives convened for the roundtable entitled, “Elevating Digital Experience: An Improved Approach to Driving Technology while Staying Resilient”.
The discussion, structured in two parts, assessed the current and developing digital experience for customers and clients of financial institutions. The first part, Digital Experience Assurance – Seeing, understanding and improving every connected experience, amongst other matters, centered on the need for end-to-end visibility to gain interconnected insights, AI-driven intelligence to gather proactive intelligence, applying AI capabilities to continuously improve performance and proactive remediation to identify potential disruptions. The second part, Cybersecurity – If it’s connected, you’re protected, looked at protection for your organisation across a multicloud environment, how to unlock better user experiences to create seamless experiences that frustrate attackers, not users and improving ROI via the consolidation of vendors to deliver cost effective defences.
The roundtable discussion was lively, informative and driven by genuine enthusiasm for the themes from experienced panelists that were able to draw on considerable day-to-day, hands-on knowledge of these most pertinent and important elements of today’s regional banking and financial services environment.
