ADIB statement following the resignation of CEO, Mazin Manna

The Board of Directors of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has accepted the resignation of Mr. Mazin Manna from his position as Group Chief Executive Officer of the Bank.

H.E. Jawaan Awaidha Suhail Al Khaili, ADIB’s Chairman, said: “On behalf of ADIB’s Board of Directors and the Bank’s executive management team and workforce, I extend my sincerest appreciation to Mr. Mazin for his invaluable contributions and achievements during his tenure with ADIB.”

The Board has initiated a process to find a new Group Chief Executive Officer. During the search period, the Board has asked Sandeep Chouhan, ADIB’s current Group COO to assume the role of interim Group CEO until a successor is appointed. Sandeep joined ADIB in April 2020 bringing with him a wealth of experience in banking, having spent over 25 years of his career at a number of local and international banks. He joined ADIB from Mashreq Bank where he worked as its COO.
